Reverend Father Xavier Khan Vattayil, Founder Director, was appointed as the first director, and Reverend Father Soji Olikkal, Director, served as the joint director. Through their guidance, this ministry grew steadily, spreading the Word of God not only through books but also by reaching the faithful in parish events, conventions, mobile book stalls, and with the support of modern tools like LCD projectors and TV. On the 22nd of February 2019, the El Shaddai Mobile Book Stall became part of the Maranatha Book Centre, giving the ministry a renewed identity and a wider reach.
Today, the Maranatha Book Centre continues its mission of proclaiming God’s Word with love and dedication. Through the publication and distribution of Christian books, booklets, rosaries, and devotional items, as well as sermons, songs, and study materials in digital formats, this ministry strives to make Christian resources accessible to all. With God’s grace, the Maranatha Book Centre remains committed to nurturing faith and spiritual growth in the lives of countless people.
At present, the ministry is led by Rev. Fr. Antony Nedumpurath as Director, together with Rev. Fr. Shinoj Kalarikkal and Rev. Fr. Christo Thekkanamth as Assistant Directors. Under their guidance, the Maranatha Book Centre continues to grow and reach out to more people with the Word of God.
